Last year, we asked exiting fifth graders a few questions about their experiences at Fox Chapel.  They highlighted key ideas about friendships, workload, and nerves.  From these reflections, we know that each year, we welcome a new group of students with the same fears.  Many miss old friends, but they also make new friends.  Many are worried about how the activities are different from fourth and fifth graders at their home school, but don't focus on the things you hear they are doing without thinking about the opportunities here that they do not have.  We are so happy to have you as a part of the Fox Chapel community and cannot wait to introduce you to new friends and teachers.  Remember to be you.  Making friends can be hard, but there are more than 50 other students trying to make new friends too.
