How Has The Center Program Impacted you?
I learned a lot of new things and made many friends. I learned new techniques and got a taste of switching classes as we are going to do in middle school.
The center has impacted me because it has taught me things that if I hadn't come here I wouldn't have learned and it has led me to be a very smart kid.
The Center has helped me make more friends and be smarter than I would be if I went to a normal elementary school.
Yes it has because it challenged me and gave me something to be challenged and unlocked my genius.
The center made me find out that there are more people who think similarly like me. Also, it made me make more friends people who I didn't even know existed. Also, I believe that it made me a little more fluent with my math, because now I am faster with my dividing by decimals.
It made me grow and become smarter. It also got me ready for the next level, middle school.
I met some of my best friends here, which I will probably bond with for the rest of my life.
It has challenged me and let me know about more of my talents.
I definitely feel less bored in school now, like back at my old school when I was really bored. I was also able to make a lot more friends.
The Center has given he lots of learning experiences and has made me a lot more organized. In the beginning of 4th grade I wasn't very organized with important dates but over time I have learned how to organize myself when it comes to homework and other important events. I have also learned a lot of lessons in the Center in class that I can use in the future. An example would be in the 4th quarter of 5th grade I learned how economics work.
I met some of my best friends here, which I will probably bond with for the rest of my life.
Being in the Center has made me think of situations in many different ways than the regular approach, and it has showed me the true meaning of fun!!!!!
It has let me know that just doing equations and learning trick s are not the only thing that will help you get better grades. You have to also be good at explaining and you have to understand why the trick works.
The Center has showed me the importance of having good time management skills, especially because I have now have triple the amount of homework each night and three times less time to do it because of the school's location. Also, it helped me a lot with my education- especially with math. I learned the importance of understanding math and how to do it, instead of just memorizing a bunch of concepts. I also made some of my best friends in the Center. Overall, the Center Program impacted me positively a lot, both academically and socially and in skills necessary for success in later life.
